You will be crafting a one-of-a-kind art piece alongside Audrey + embarking on a journey through the realms of your mind, emotions, and spirit.

Weaving is an inherently spiritual human tradition - it’s the subtle art of threading between the unconscious world and our waking reality, crafting unique expressions of our consciousness and allowing our voice and higher guidance to collaborate in shaping an intuitive masterpiece. Its roots are ancestral and spread out across the earth, from the Andean mountains to Europe, making it a universal way of communicating the voices in our hearts to ourselves and those we love.

Meet Your Guide

weaving_instructor2.jpg

Audrey is a textile artist and spiritual teacher based on the Oregonian coast. Originally from Provence, France, she keeps consciously breaking the rules of her classical textile training. Her willingness to allow for un-woven spaces, to weave outside of the warp, and to take detours and get intimate with abstract details reflects her drive to explore deeply one's inner landscape and its duality. Audrey sees weaving as a conversation between the permanent and the impermanent, the organized and the chaotic, stillness and playfulness, and the unshakable verticality of the earth-divine plane (steady warp) against the horizontality of the human plane (dynamic weft). The pieces become stories of an instinctual nature where the occasional twist and turns of the weft bring emotions, questions and perhaps understanding to the surface.

Connect w/ Audrey:

I had been seeing Audrey’s beautiful work on Pinterest all the time and decided to take a class. It was so
much fun and very mediative at the same time. I’m eager to keep going with the practice and replicate the
session with my loom and pretty materials.
